Provo Golf & Country Club - a residential and vacation golf community in the Grace Bay area of Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands, British West Indies. And don't forget to visit the famous Fairways Bar and Grill, which serves one of the best breakfasts in Providenciales! Known for its natural, rugged layout through limestone outcroppings, Provo Golf Club combines a great test of golf with the natural flora and fauna of the island. Fairways are lined throughout with native island bush, combining with inland lakes and numerous palm trees to compliment the beautifully maintained playing surfaces. There is also an abundance of birdlife, with the lakes home to an array of colorful native birds including egrets, various types of heron and waterfowl, and migratory flamingoes. Since 1992 this challenging layout has been enjoyed by club members and resort golfers alike, and attracts many return visitors to tackle the unique 'target-style' course. In happy contrast to the rest of the island golfers are pleased to find a relaxing green oasis, with an almost constant island breeze to keep them cool. The front nine features water on six holes and winds its way through areas set aside for the development of Country Club-style villas, while the back nine features a further four 'lake holes' and a generally tight set up, none more so than the notorious par five 12th. Off the black tees the championship layout of 6,705 yards is highly regarded, with a slope rating of 136.
