Grace Bay at Provo, Turks & Caicos stretches as far as the eye can see with beautiful white sand Grace Bay is starting point for sailing trips on a catamaran, for snorkeling and for various nature friendly water sports (no water skis, no jet skis). The Grace Bay area is part of the Princess Alexandra National Park and therefore enjoys enforced protection by law. On the edge of the bay there is a surrounding barrier reef which hosts countless majestic coral fans filtering the food out of the flowing water. With warm seas and an incredible turquoise colour, Grace Bay is a great place to get your feet wet. Since Provo's beaches are public property, feel free to walk your self to your heart's content. Along the way there are many restaurants which you can just stroll up to have a refreshing drink or to sit down for a delicious meal. With both a Beaches and a Club Med at opposite ends of the beach, you can walk to some of the busier sections, or if you prefer it a bit quieter, then stay near the access to the beach. The sand is wonderful balm on the feet and with a little luck you might catch a glimpse or even swim with JoJo, the friendly wild dolphin. At the very least you will be treated to a wonderful walk with beautiful scenery, great dining and recreational opportunities; here you can take with you great memories and leave a few footprints behind. One in particular is the reef near the White house just past the Beaches; it is a vibrant coral reef which is very close to the shore. A map on the land just beside it can guide you on a great tour of it; there are a great deal of fish, beautiful coral, and on occasion inquisitive turtles will greet you in the water. If you are more adventuresome, you might take a short boat ride to the surrounding barrier reef for some great snorkeling. As well, there are some incredible dive locations just off Grace Bay for people who are interested in scuba diving.
